Main FocusOur main focus is to provide equity investments to companies with whom we work through our Garden Industry Institutional Investment Program. The advantage of this investment program dedicated to the garden products industry is that it facilitates expeditious completion of each equity financing. This can occur through either an outright acquisition of a company that becomes part of our portfolio, enabling major shareholders to obtain liquidity, or an equity investment in an operating company, whereby shareholders retain a major ownership interest. Spring Garden also provides consultative services to select companies within the industry.
The Principals of Spring Garden, John Hesse and Reid McCarthy, bring to each transaction not only equity capital but also the knowledge and expertise necessary for creative and constructive advice to a chief executive or general manager, thereby adding to the ongoing value of the newly financed business.
